Ok folks, how long does the crying and howling last? This is our fourth night and I am getting sleep deprived. The boys all sleep straight through the noise, and yes the mommy is left to take care of the baby. It is a good thing I like dogs. But really how long does it last?

Oooh, it's one thing to loose sleep over your own borne child, but over a puppy? I'm not sure I like dogs that much! Poor baby puppy. Good luck on this one. I have no advice.
